NWHA Annual Award Committee
The committee Co-Chairs are Trey Acteson, NWHA Vice-President, and Heidi Wahto, a member company representative. Award nominations will be received by the association office and forwarded to the co-chairs and the selection committee. The winner will be announced 2 weeks prior to the conference and will be presented the award at the luncheon on Wednesday, February 22nd, at the annual conference.
This Award was established in 2009 by the NWHA Board of Directors to recognize the recipients for their lasting contributions to the Pacific Northwest hydroelectric industry through leadership and service. The Award honors the memory of Pamela E. Klatt, who served the industry for over 25 years as an environmental planner, long time NWHA Board member, and strategic advisor to licensees and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission staff. She influenced many with her high standards of excellence and broad grasp of the complexities of hydroelectric licensing and environmental compliance. Her contributions to the industry and convivial spirit leave an enduring legacy acknowledged annually by this Award.
The 2016 Pamela E. Klatt Award will be presented to long-time NWHA board member and current President, Steve Padula, at the Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, February 22nd.
The Pamela E. Klatt Annual Award is presented to an individual within the hydro industry who exemplifies the mission of the Northwest Hydroelectric Association.
For the past 30 years, Steve Padula has been a dedicated leader in the hydropower licensing and compliance industry.
Please join us in congratulating Steve Padula!
