This workshop provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to examine the forces driving the development of additional small hydro capacity in the Pacific Northwest.

  • Learn more about potential identified in the recently completed U.S. Department of Energy Deschutes Basin Study as well as plans for additional basin studies.
  • Find out about recent regulatory changes as well as regional and national legislative developments.
  • Gain new insights on the FERC/state expedited program to permit small hydro.

The conference will also include a "virtual tour" of small hydro projects that have recently come on line or are near completion.
