What's working at other small hydro facilities?

It may be labeled small hydro, but operational issues can still be a big concern!

In this hands-on workshop, seasoned professionals address a broad range of issues, from developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures in a new facility to working with your insurer when a business interruption occurs. Operations managers will share their experience with common maintenance issues involving governors and turbines, pipelines and penstocks. They’ll also present case studies examining how to maximize maintenance and operation skills through use of third party support resources.

You’ll also receive updates on key legislative, regulatory and marketplace issues and developments.

Tour New Small Hydro Operation

The Three Sisters Irrigation District recently brought a .9 MW canal project on line this past spring. The district has worked with the Deschutes River Conservancy in developing the project and has a power sale agreement with PacifiCorp.
