be held Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24 at
the Hood River Inn in Hood River, Oregon.

NWHA Technical Seminars offer the engineers, electricians, mechanics, operators and technicians servicing the hydroelectric industry a forum to discuss and learn about the arts and issues of their work. Join seasoned operators and managers as they share proven approaches to improving equipment longevity and enhancing plant performance.
Tour Bonneville Dam Powerhouse 2
Also scheduled in conjunction with the seminar is a tour of the 558 MW Bonneville Dam Powerhouse #2 on the Columbia River. Built by the US Army Corps of Engineers and completed in 1982, the facility features a 1,450-ft. spillway, eight large generators and innovative fish ladders to allow salmon and steelhead to swim upstream. Plant operators will lead a review of equipment operations as well as a discussion of fish migration. Tour Registration: $25
