Gavin Tasker

Gavin Tasker is a Business Development Manager with Barnard Construction’s Heavy Civil division and is based in Bozeman, Montana. In his current role Gavin enjoys finding new and challenging business opportunities for Barnard. With nearly 30 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry, he’s proudly worked at Barnard for the last 25 years. Gavin has experience on a broad range of heavy civil projects, he understands the complexity of Barnard’s work and seeks to develop and maintain relationships with partners and clients. While in the field, Gavin gained experience managing projects in earthwork, dams, reservoirs, tunnels, Hydropower, water/sewer/gas pipelines, and power transmission. He is instrumental in both bidding and constructing heavy civil work throughout the U.S. and working with a variety of clients under different contract models.

Gavin received his B.S. in Construction Engineering Management degree from Oregon State University. Away from the office, Gavin and his family enjoy camping, boating, fishing, hunting, hiking and skiing throughout Montana along with occasional travel outside of the state as well. Gavin also enjoys playing and coaching soccer.
