Leadership

The 2025-2026 Board of Directors

The NWHA Board of Directors plays a critical leadership role in guiding the vision, priorities, and operations of the association. Composed of representatives from across the Northwest's hydropower community, the Board sets strategic direction, approves budgets and policies, and ensures NWHA continues to serve as a trusted voice for the industry. Board members contribute their expertise to support regional advocacy, member engagement, and educational initiatives—helping to strengthen the clean, reliable future of hydropower across the region.

Board terms are three years, starting from the Annual Meeting of the year the director is elected.

Officers' terms are one year. Officers are voting members of the Executive Committee. The General Counsel and the Executive Director are non-voting members of the Executive Committee. The General Counsel is appointed every three years by the Board.
