Heidi McMaster

Heidi A. McMaster is a Natural Resources Specialist with the Bureau of Reclamation. She has 15 years of experience tackling invasive species, with a primary focus on invasive mussels. Based in Boise, Idaho, she develops and implements science-driven strategies that protect aquatic ecosystems, strengthen prevention and early detection programs, and support sustainable resource management across jurisdictions.
Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (Restoration Ecology) and a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health, bringing a cross-disciplinary lens to complex resource challenges.
