Chad Croft

Chad Croft is HDR’s Northwest Hydropower Practice Leader. Chad leads a talented team of engineering and regulatory services staff who execute projects throughout the northwest and beyond. Chad is also a project manager on various projects, including dam safety inspections, engineering studies and analyses, and equipment upgrades and replacements. Chad has over 23 years of hydropower industry experience including 19 years at Portland General Electric. Prior to joining HDR in 2021, Chad’s previous 14 years were at PGE’s Pelton Round Butte Hydroelectric project serving as a project manager, maintenance supervisor, and plant manager.
