Phillip P. Cantarinha, MBA, PE, PMP, IAM, is a dedicated leader in the hydropower industry with nearly 20 years of experience advancing clean energy. As Director of Power Generation Engineering at Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Phillip has overseen major hydroelectric operations, asset management, and modernization projects across California and beyond. Phillip’s leadership extends to serving as California Director on the NWHA Board of Directors and Secretary for NWHA. Phillip is currently the Chairman of the NHA Hydropower Technical Community (HTC) group. A registered Professional Engineer (PE) in multiple states, Phillip is recognized for driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and innovation in hydropower generation.
