Hydro Connect is a one-day introduction to hydropower for new professionals and anyone who wants a stronger foundation in the industry. Experts will walk you through how a hydro project works, from the water that fuels it to the regulations that govern it.

Sessions cover hydro basics, hydrology, governors and controls, and how hydro fits into the grid. The afternoon turns to licensing and regulatory oversight, dam safety and security, and license implementation over a license cycle. Lunch is provided, giving you time to connect with presenters and fellow attendees.
