SALARY RANGE
The starting salary range Project Planner Scheduler I is $76,960 - $96,200 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $115,440, annualized.
The starting salary range Project Planner Scheduler II is $85,280 - $106,600 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $127,920, annualized.
The starting salary range Project Planner Scheduler III is $101,040 - $126,300 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $151,560, annualized.
The starting salary range Project Planner Scheduler III is $116,800 - $146,000 (based on qualifications). With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $175,200, annualized.
Introductory Period: New employees holding regular positions must complete an introductory period of twelve months.

Project Planner Scheduler I
Overview
Support planning and scheduling activities for maintenance and capital projects. Assist with developing and maintaining project and program schedules in collaboration with project managers and more experienced schedulers. Apply project management and scheduling fundamentals to support progress tracking, resource planning, budgeting, and reporting. Develop proficiency in Primavera and other District tools used to support these activities.
Responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of project and program schedules in collaboration with project managers and more experienced schedulers. Assist with schedule updates and evaluation of project progress, risks, resource needs, and other factors that may affect the schedule.
Support project financial activities by processing project-related work orders and assisting with tracking budgets, expenditures, commitments, and forecasts.
Support project approval and annual budget activities by assisting with preparing and processing project approvals and compiling schedule, cost, resource, and other supporting information.
Support the development and maintenance of annual and multi-year work plans. Assist with resource capacity planning and identification of potential resource constraints, gaps, and bottlenecks.
Support project lifecycle activities, including project intake, setup, documentation, and closeout.
Use established scheduling standards, work breakdown structures, templates, reports, and tools.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance: Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Comply with District policies. Complete all required training. Familiarity with project scheduling software and ability to develop proficiency in Primavera.

Apply advanced knowledge of project management and scheduling to assess progress, identify schedule and resource constraints, and advise project managers and teams on potential impacts and mitigation strategies. Provide guidance to less experienced schedulers and contribute to the development and improvement of scheduling standards, processes, reports, and tools.

Assess project progress, risks, resource needs, and other factors that may affect the schedule, and advise project teams on potential impacts and mitigation strategies.

Identify approval requirements, timing considerations, and issues requiring resolution.

Develop and maintain integrated project and program schedules in collaboration with project managers, using Primavera and other District tools. Apply extensive knowledge of project management and scheduling to independently assess progress, identify schedule and resource constraints, and advise project managers, teams, and management on potential impacts and mitigation strategies. Lead the development and improvement of scheduling standards, processes, reports, and tools, and provide ongoing guidance and mentoring to other schedulers.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project and program schedules in collaboration with project managers, including leading complex and integrated scheduling efforts. Independently assess project and program progress, risks, resource needs, schedule conflicts, and other factors that may affect execution. Advise project teams and management on potential impacts and mitigation strategies.
Lead complex project financial and work order activities, including maintaining and analyzing financial information and processing project-related work orders.
