David Gillson

Mr. Gillson brings more than thirty-five years of expertise in the fields of construction, environmental remediation, and marine construction, with a particular focus on projects involving ports, harbors, and dams.
Specialized Experience in Commercial Diving
Throughout his career, Mr. Gillson has served as both a commercial diver and a supervisor. This hands-on experience has provided him with the qualifications necessary to represent owners during large-scale commercial diving projects, ensuring that their interests are protected and project standards are maintained.
Construction Management Responsibilities
Mr. Gillson’s construction management experience encompasses a range of essential duties. These include conducting constructability reviews during the design phase to identify and address potential challenges before construction begins. He is responsible for developing and overseeing the overall project master schedule, coordinating and updating schedules for both general contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring that all activities are aligned with project timelines.
Financial and Administrative Oversight
His role also involves managing project budgets and preparing cash flow estimates. He closely monitors daily construction activities and produces comprehensive daily construction reports. Mr. Gillson is responsible for tracking payable quantities and preparing pay requests, as well as reviewing and approving change orders and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Additional Key Duties
In addition to his technical and managerial responsibilities, Mr. Gillson is actively involved in conflict resolution throughout the project lifecycle. He oversees the close-out process, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed satisfactorily and in accordance with contractual obligations.
