Steve Meicke

Steve is a senior mechanical engineer specializing in mechanical design of hydroelectric facilities with 15 years of experience. His experience includes turbine replacement and overhaul projects, designing gate hoist systems and cranes, equipment troubleshooting, machinery inspection, pumping and piping systems, fish passage engineering, and FERC dam safety exercises (Part 12D, periodic inspections, PFMA). Steve has experience with full-time, on-site construction support and commissioning services and has seven years of experience leading QA/QC program development and implementation. Steve leads KGS Group’s U.S. practice mechanical team and serves as a technical advisor for hydromechanical projects.
